East Coast Camping Hire agrees to supply clean, well maintained camping gear – all gear is thoroughly checked when returned and serviced or replaced as needed.

All bookings require a 10% non-refundable booking fee.

Full payment plus bond must be paid before we ship your camping gear.

The hired equipment will be returned to us in good, clean condition, having been used only for it's intended purpose.

The bond covers the loss, theft, damage (other than normal wear) or cleaning costs if required of the hired equipment.  The bond will be returned by direct deposit.  You need to give us your details or a cheque can be posted in the mail.
  

Your bond will be refunded after we receive and check your returned hired equipment, less the cost of any missing equipment, repair or cleaning.  The cost of repair or replacement will be charged at market value.  If this exceeds the bond money, the Hirer will pay by direct deposit the balance owing within 14 days.  Should the recovery of outstanding monies be warranted, the inclusion of all costs incurred to recover said money including, but not limited to interest accrued, court costs, legal fees etc. will be at the expense of the Hirer.

East Coast Camping Hire will not be held responsible for any loss or injury to a hirer or 3^rd party/property due to the hire equipment or for any additional costs resulting from break-down of equipment.

Title to equipment shall remain at all time with East Coast Camping Hire.  During the Term of this Agreement, the Hirer shall be solely responsible for any loss or damage to the Equipment.  The Hirer shall also be solely liable for all claims including but not limited to workers compensation or claims for personal injury, disability, death or damage to property, arising directly or indirectly, out of the use of the Equipment.  The Hirer hereby assumes and shall bear the entire risk of loss for theft, damage, destruction, or other injury to equipment from any and every cause whatsoever.

East Coast Camping Hire makes no representations or warranties of any nature, express or implied, including but not limited to any representations or warranties with respect to the suitability, durability, fitness for any particular purpose, infringement, or intended use.  In no event shall East Coast Camping Hire be liable for special incidental or consequential damages including loss of profits or alternate accommodation resulting from any failure of the equipment or any performance by East Coast Camping Hire.
